Over the course of two decades of web design and photo editing and more than a decade of campaign consulting, Bill Humphrey gradually began branching out into freelance graphic design to better support clients (and his own political campaigns) with comprehensive one-stop-shop services. Bill is also a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell's 10-course graphic design certificate program, including courses in the following areas:
- Intro to Graphic Design and Advanced Graphic Design (theory and branding)
- Intro to Web Design and Advanced Web Design
- Fundamentals of Typography and Advanced Typography (focusing on design for print)
- User Interface Prototyping for Apps and Web (with a sub-focus on user research)
- Photographic Imaging (Photoshop)
- Computer Graphics & Illustration (icon sets, pattern sets, hand-lettering, and digital illustration)
Bill also served as a City Council representative on the Newton MA City Seal Working Group that successfully replaced a dated and controversial official city government seal with a new, modern design the community could feel comfortable with.
