Bill Humphrey is an elected official with a wide-ranging professional background in written and broadcast media and beyond, with extensive campaign experience.
Having started working on campaigns a decade and a half ago in Delaware and Massachusetts, Bill now works to elect other progressive, Democratic politicians and to develop the reserve of campaign skills and talents in the ranks of advocates and activists who can go on to help other candidates win and succeed in office – or run for office themselves some day.
Bill also works to help local officials improve their constituent informational communications in an era of declining local news coverage.
From 2013 to 2018, Bill worked continuously as a long-term contracted geopolitical researcher and analyst for a number of private clients, investment consultancies, and newspapers. He was also a radio host and podcaster for well over a decade.
Bill Humphrey is a native of Newton MA, where he is serving his third-term as a City Councilor.
His other interests include history, rail transportation, and landscape photography.
