Over the course of two decades of web design and photo editing and more than a decade of campaign consulting, Bill Humphrey gradually began branching out into freelance graphic design to better support clients (and his own political campaigns) with comprehensive in-house services. At the start of 2024, to receive formal training, Bill enrolled in the University of Massachusetts Lowell's 10-course graphic design certificate program and has completed courses in the following areas:

  • Intro to Graphic Design and Advanced Graphic Design (theory and branding)
  • Intro to Web Design and Advanced Web Design
  • Fundamentals of Typography and Advanced Typography (focusing on print design)
  • User Interface Prototyping for Apps and Web
  • Photographic Imaging (Photoshop)
  • Computer Graphics & Illustration (icon sets, pattern sets, hand-lettering, and digital illustration)

Bill also served as a City Council representative on the Newton MA City Seal Working Group that successfully replaced a dated and controversial official city government seal with a new, modern design the community could feel comfortable with.

You can hire Bill to work on mail campaigns, web design, and branding.

Bill has resumed taking on new clients for 2025.
